Leura Cascades

Leura Cascades

A sign at the beginning of a walking track

Hello world!

Is the city not your thing? Do you consider yourself physically active? Do you enjoy nature in all its forms?

Well then, let me introduce you to wonderful Blue Mountains, and in particular The Leura Cascades picnic area and walking track. Only a two hour drive from Sydney's CBD, this piece of nature is relatively close to the city.

If you are not fond of hiking, then you're welcome to enjoy the picnic, with a playground for the kids, tables, and water bubblers. There's also a little waterfall nearby the picnic area, allowing you to witness the beauty of the park without having to walk all those stairs.

If you are fond of hiking? Well then, you're in for a treat as long as you're prepared for a bit of a walk up some stairs (bring a water bottle!). The hikes of Leura Cascades allow you to venture deep into the wilderness, they allow you to walk up to waterfalls, to hear the sounds of Australia's birds, and more!
A few minutes into a walk and you start to notice how connected to nature the park is
You don't have to walk 5 kilometres plus 100 flights of stairs to see the good parts, it's all good parts. There are plenty of walking tracks to enjoy, and you don't have to complete them. Ten minutes into a walk and you'll see AMAZING views of mountains that go for miles, if you choose to go further then you could find yourself at the base of the waterfall.

There are plenty of walking tracks ranging from beginner to expert, I myself didn't even get to complete all of them due to the fact they're so much to do. No matter what you choose, this park is only one of many around New South Wales, and all of them are equally beautiful that allow you to view Australia in it's most natural state.

Wilderness that spans miles
Here's to ADVENTURE,
